Books 4 Teens Hits YouTube – A Book Tour!
As I’m sure you all know Kirsty at The Overflowing Library does a weekly post touring authors, bloggers and your bookcases – I did one here but since then I’ve kind of moved and with me so have my books and they’re arranged (that makes it sound like I actually have a system – I really don’t) a little differently.
Anyhoo, I’ve been meaning to record this for ages … (6 months to be precise) and so without further ado here is an updated tour of the books in my flat (please excuse the terrible lighting – and I better warn you now – watch out of the background music – it’s stuck in my head now!)
All of which brings me to the next thing I wanted to say – Books 4 Teens now has a YouTube account, well okay it’s had one since the 24th July 2011 – but I’ve been meaning to do something with it for ages and since I’ve started thinking about it a few months ago I’ve had more and more ideas about what I can do with it – so there’s going to be plenty more coming up.
So if you’d like to catch the videos first – please (pretty please! :p) subscribe to The Teen Books Sidekick and / or keep an eye on my twitter and Facebook accounts as they’re likely to pop up there before they appear here
All be it without my lengthy introductions

Great tour, for someone who is shy I congratulate you for doing this video, I have no intention ever, to do a video that involves me talking, or seeing my face, or even hearing my accent and trying to understand what I’m saying with ‘erm’ thrown in every 5 words

There were a lot of um’s and erms in there originally – many more than got in – I just kind of edited most of them out hehe.
And you can only (just about) hear me as I increased the volume in the editing software by 320% – eek!
It’s another part of why I wanted to do it was to try and get more comfortable with being in front of a camera – my family are always trying to get photos of me and it gets annoying when I keep jumping out the way lol
I am so scared to do a vlog then everyone will know how awful look lol. Dashing off to subscribe to your youtube xxxx

I’m sure you look better than I do
And thank you
Aww, what a great vlog! Vlogs are so scary to do and I’m always impressed when others manage to do it well. Lovely to see your books too
