Only Willow has the power to defeat the malevolent Church of Angels, and they will stop at nothing to destroy her. Willow isn’t alone, though. She has Alex by her side a trained Angel Killer and her one true love. But nothing can change the fact that Willow’s a half-angel, and when Alex joins forces with a group of AKs, she’s treated with mistrust and suspicion. She’s never felt more alone…until she meets Seb. He’s been searching for Willow his whole life because Seb is a half-angel too. This is a heart-pounding, knuckle-whitening, paranormal romance action-adventure for fans of the Twilight series.

Review
Warning: Angel Fire is the second in the Angel triolgy and I may inadvertently give away bits and pieces from the first book – you have been warned!

Second warning: this review in no way is worthy of reviewing Angel Fire – my words just can’t do it justice!

709 pages of absolute solid gold goodness is what you get with Angel Fire, in a story which takes the Angel Trilogy in all kinds of fab directions.

Angel Fire picks up the story from roughly where Angel leaves off and as such we are reunited with Willow (I love that name (and no not because of Buffy, well maybe a little)) and Alex. We dig further into Alex’s life as an angel killer as more characters from his past pop up adding more depth to his character whilst Willow goes on a real journey of self discovery. A brand new character for Angel Fire is Seb – I liked and warmed to him immediately, he seems like such a determined character but someone who has a bit of a cheeky side :) .

As I said I love the use of different points of view as it allows us as readers really get into the minds of the characters and what motivates them. And when it’s done well as it is in Angel Fire (very well by the way :D ) it gives us a a heads up as to what each character is planning without actually giving anything away and builds so much anticipation for what is to come.

I can’t leave out Raziel either and here is where the multiple points of view comes into it’s own – we get to see into the mind of this Angel and his thought processes. If we saw Raziel from Willow and Alex’s points of view I think I would of hated him. But as it is I actually quite like him.

As for the story as I mentioned at the start it is 709 pages but please, please don’t let that you put you off – it’s so easy to read and once you get started it’s incredibly difficult to put down and the pages whiz by and before you know it it’s ended and you’re desperate for the next!

Thanks to Usbourne for sending me a copy to review

I can’t wait to get this for review! I reviewed the first one and loved it! I can’t wait for February!
    Sounds amazing!
Although the 709 Page aspect sounds kind of daunting.
