Beat The Band Book Trailer Is Here

January8

I loved (strike that) adored, worshiped (okay maybe I’m starting to go a little bit overboard here hehe) but you get the picture, it was an amazing book and next month a sequel comes out in the form of Beat The Band and I have to say it sounds just as hysterically fun.

So it gives me absolute pleasure to bring you the trailer, enjoy!

Book Trailer Of The Week: Daughter Of Smoke And Bone

August15

I’ve been hearing a lot about this book recently and after I saw the trailer for the first time last week I had to share it with you making it this weeks book trailer of the week. The soundtrack to it is quite loud so you might want to turn your speakers down ;)

It does a very good job of making you wonder what the story is about and about this girls vivid imagination that the trailer keeps referring to.

Book Trailer Of The Week: Soul Beach

August8

I only saw this weeks trailer of the week recently and as soon as I saw it I had to feature it, it’s quite short and the music is just right but for me it’s the vibrancy of the graphics which are just stunning. And it helps the books sounds amazing :D

Book Trailer Of The Week: David

August1

This weeks trailer of the week is David by Mary Hoffman, the trailer captures the idea of the book and just like the cover gets right to the point of the main character in the book – David (or Gabrielle as we come to know him). All this over the top of a track which lays down the scale of the book.

Book Trailer Of The Week: Jessie Hearts NYC

July25

This weeks trailer of the week is for a book which I have been dying to read for I can’t remember how long :D The trailer screams New York along with music and colours to match (though I have to say that the book’s cover looks much shiner in real life!)

Trailer Of The Week: Shadows On The Moon

July18

If you haven’t yet read Shadows on the Moon I urge you to drop everything and go and but it, like … yesterday! In the meantime take a look at this gorgeous trailer for the book, which like all Walker trailers lately could easily be for a feature film.

And now you’ve seen it you can read my review and then go and buy it, you know you want to :p

Book Trailer Of The Week: Boys Don’t Cry

July11

This weeks trailer could almost be the trailer for a film in the way the action unfolds. It tells us all we need to know about the story and the sound effects make it a nice and light trailer for what sounds like a book which could be very interesting – I mean how would I act in that situation? I haven’t got a clue, but I am now dying to find out how the guy takes it.

Book Trailer Of The Week: Blood Red Road

July4

This weeks trailer of the week I love more because of the graphics than anything else. The trailer does however give us a feel for what the book will be like (as in a lawless land) and the colours are just stunning on the screen.

From Amazon
Every step of Saba’s journey sizzles with danger… In a lawless land, where life is cheap and survival is hard, Saba has been brought up in isolated Silverlake. She never sees theangers of the destructive society outside. When her twin brother is snatched by mysterious black-robed riders, she sets out on an epic quest to rescue him.

The story’s searing pace, its spare style, the excitement of its fabulously damaged world, its unforgettably vivid characters, its violent action and glorious love story make this a truly sensatonal YA debut novel.

Book Trailer Of The Week: Passion

June27

This weeks trailer of the week is Passion by Lauren Kate, published by Doubleday Children’s Books on the 23rd June 2011.

It’s a short but striking trailer, the colours (the red against the white especially) create an unforgettable picture and the music is enough to make you sit up and listen. I have the first book on my TBR pile and if it’s as good as this trailer makes the third look I can’t wait!

From Amazon
The third book in the incredible FALLEN series.

Before Luce and Daniel met at Sword & Cross, before they fought the Immortals, they had already lived many lives. And so Luce, desperate to unlock the curse that condemns their love, must revisit her past incarnations in order to understand her fate. Each century, each life, holds a different clue.

But Daniel is chasing her throughout the centuries before she has a chance to rewrite history.

How many deaths can one true love endure?

And can Luce and Daniel unlock their past in order to change their future?

Trailer Of The Week: Dark Days Of Supernatural

June20

I’ve literally only just seen the trailer I am making this weeks trailer of the week but it’s so stunning that I couldn’t add it to the list and use it another day – it just demands to be shown to you right now (if you haven’t already seen it of course!).
